BRENDAN NIELSEN
PRINCIPAL ENGINEER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Brendan has completed a Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering and a Master of Engineering Management and has gained over 15 years’ experience providing consulting and contractor services to the Civil Construction industry. Brendan has performed Project Engineer, Project Manager, Director, Civil Engineer and Senior Engineer roles working on projects in Far North Queensland, Western Queensland, Southeast Queensland, the Northern Territory, Southeast Asia, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and New Zealand. Brendan is an accredited Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
Brendan have represented J.C. Engineers Pty. Ltd. during many Technical Meetings with stakeholders at all levels and delivered several workshops to external stakeholders. These include technical meetings with Local Government clients, Business to Business clients and workshops to educate Councilors on technical Civil/Structural Engineering concerns. Brendan has also personally delivered over 150 Investigative Reports identifying the likely root causes of the Engineering issues presented, through Forensic Investigative techniques.
As Principal Engineer, Brendan has led, supervised and developed several young Engineers from Graduate Level to Senior Level. Brendan have personally Supervised five (5) final year undergraduate Engineers through their Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) requirements in partnership with Griffith University’s Engineering Faculty. Brendan enjoys’ s providing continued mentoring for Engineering students within J.C. Engineers Pty. Ltd. and externally NFP's.
As Managing Director, Brendan has developed J.C. Engineers Pty. Ltd. from a one-man-band in the Garage to a multi-department company delivering day-in day-out for its clients' and personnel alike.

Brendan’s aim to create a seamless transition between Design and Construction activities ensures an optimized project outcome is achieved.
