Scope:
Client had requested the assistance of JCE's Traffic Engineers to assess the compliance of their proposed Off-Street Car Park facilities for a proposed unit complex situated adjacent to a busy State-Controlled Road on the Gold Coast. The proposed Off-Street Car Park facilities were originally arranged by the client's Architect and were proposed to be of minimum dimensions.

Solution:
JCE's Traffic Engineers obtained the proposed design drawings and undertook Swept Path Analysis to confirm the feasibility of the proposed Car Park facility with City of Gold Coast, TMR and other industry standards. The proposed Car Park facility required some minor alterations to ensure compliance, where JCE's Engineers worked with the Clients’ Architects to confirm the most feasible arrangement that was in line with City of Gold Coast, TMR and other industry standards. The proposed alterations were delivered to the client in electronic format, .pdf and a Technical Letter summarising the reasons for the proposed alterations.

JCE proposed alterations allowed the development to achieve acceptance from City of Gold Coast and TMR in a swift manner, so that construction could commence.
